The PPG Wave was one of the most popular synths of the 80s, made famous by well-known artists such as David Bowie, Jean Michel Jarre, Art of Noise, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Robert Palmer, Ultravox, Tangerine Dream, Pet Shop Boys, Mike and the Mechanics and Stevie Wonder to name just a few.
The PPG Wave 2.V is the perfect recreation of the original 80s classic containing 32 wavetables each with 64 different waveforms. That means over 2,000 waveforms!! With this much creative possibility the PPG Wave 2.V is the perfect choice for a ProSounds release!

Nineteen Eighty Four, a bank of 128 presets by sound designer Bryan "Xenos" Lee, combines the distinctive, characteristic sounds of the 1980's with his own somber, chilling creations that reflect the dystopian world described in George Orwell's classic novel.
NOTE: The 1984 bank does load into the old Steinberg PPGwave release. The set ships with two sets, labeled by which version each is for.
